Visitor Information
We
are happy for you to have visitors because the warmth
and concern of family members and friends are an important
part of your recovery. To make sure they do not disturb
your rest and care, however, we ask that you have no
more than two visitors at one time.

In
general, children must be 12 or older to visit a patient.
However, age restrictions may vary on some units. Consult
your nurse for age restrictions on your unit. Children
under 12 are permitted in the main lobby, first floor,
and the cafeteria, but they must be accompanied by an
adult.
Visiting
hours vary according to the type of treatment you are
given. In general patient-care areas, for example, visiting
hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Specific visiting
hours for other areas of the hospital, such as ICU,
are outlined in your admissions packet.
